Bucak Computer and Information Faculty was established as "Bucak Technology Faculty" within Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University on 03.08.2016, with the law published in the Official Gazette numbered 29790, dated 13.06.2016, by the decision of the Council of Ministers numbered 2016/8969. As per the decision numbered 7477 published in the Official Gazette on 03.08.2023, Bucak Computer and Information Faculty continues its education and training as Bucak Computer and Information Faculty.
In the 2020/2021 academic year, it admitted its first students to the Software Engineering Department, and in the 2022-2023 academic year, it admitted its first students to the Information Systems Engineering Department.
Our faculty continues to provide education with 549 students, 15 academic staff, and 5 administrative staff in our 2 departments: Software Engineering and Information Systems Engineering.
