Bucak Faculty of Computer and Information, with the decision of the Council of Ministers dated 13.06.2016 and numbered 2016/8969, was established as "Bucak Faculty of Technology" within Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University on 03.08.2016 with the law published in the Official Gazette numbered 29790.
In the 2020/2021 academic year, it admitted its first students to the Software Engineering Department, and in the 2022-2023 academic year, it admitted its first students to the Information Systems Engineering Department.
As per the decision numbered 7477 published in the Official Gazette on 03.08.2023, Bucak Faculty of Computer and Information continues its education and training as Bucak Faculty of Computer and Information.
Our faculty continues to provide education with 417 students, 13 academic and 3 administrative staff in our 2 departments, namely Software Engineering and Information Systems Engineering.
